Polymer engineers from Paderborn at the ANTEC 2011 in Boston, USA
From May 1-5, 2011 about 2000 polymer engineers from all over the world presented their projects at the "ANTEC 2011" in Boston, USA. Among them were Prof. Dr.-Ing. Elmar Moritzer, Agnes Bagsik, Martin Schäfers, Christian Leister and André Korsmeier, KTP, Polymer Engineering Paderborn.
The scientists gave their lectures on the following subjects: Modeling of the Aging Process on Thermoplastic Surfaces After Treatment with an Atmospheric-Pressure Plasma (Christian Leister), Welding of flame retarding PP (Martin Schäfers), Mechanical Properties of Fused Deposition Modeling Parts Manufactured with ULTEM*9085 (Agnes Bagsik), Investigation of the Throughput from a Single-Screw Extruder Taking Account of the Pressure Variations (André Korsmeier) und Phenomenon-Oriented Process and Part Optimization of Complex Injection Molded Parts with Thin-Walled Molded-On Hollow Areas (GITBLOW), Taking Into Account the Residual Wall Thickness Distribution (Elmar Moritzer).
"ANTEC" is organized by the Society of Plastics Engineers, the lectures are published in a conference volume.
