BEEM – Calculation of the Feeding Process in Single Screw Extruders
Within the scope of a research project supported by the DFG a software tool has been developed, which allows the calculation of the feeding process in single screw extruders. During this performance geometry parameters (screw geometry, feed opening etc.) as well as material and process parameters can be specified.
Consequently, the filling degree and other data as well as the graphical output of the results are calculated. In the help-file necessary theoretical backgrounds are explained. For further information about BEEM, please contact Mr. Tobias Hallmann.
